Next month will be giving away an SR71 kit from BRC, it is actually one that I brought in for myself, just had to have one after seeing the initial flight video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxIruOylML4

News.

Video of the month – this one has a special place in my heart, from my friend Merog in India, flying his Budget RC ME109 for the first time http://www.parkflyers.org.nz/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=772&forum=6&post_id=12391#forumpost12391

Offer closes as soon as the box arrives !
My last lot of 8 were gone 6 days after they arrived in New Zealand !

These are a great flying aircraft, Myself and three others have built them, the other three guys rave about them, check out the thread here http://www.parkflyers.org.nz/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?start=0&topic_id=734&viewmode=flat&order=ASC&type=&mode=0

Mine I have used for Aerial Photography http://www.rc-aerial-photography.com/category/rc-aerial-photography, and it lives in the car, for lunchtime flying

Nutballs – 16″ and 20″ – I have had 4 of each arrive this month, great little aircraft, can be set up as a trainer or as a acrobat, a definate keep-in-the car machine as a few guys that have brought them do. List price on the 20″ is $58 http://shop.kiwirc.com/product_info.php/products_id/54 and on the 16″ is $54 http://shop.kiwirc.com/product_info.php/cPath/23_34/products_id/85.

You get allot with these kits, EPP foam parts, plywood motor mounts and control horns as well as carbon control rods and bracing, and even plywood wheels ! All parts are CNC Laser cut.

Thats all for now.

Would apreciate some feedback as to what else you would like to see, trying not to make this too “salesy” or too long winded,

Maybe you want some info on how to select or build a Ritewing, how to tune a flying wing, or how to make hot-glue hinges (my favorite)

Will update all with photos etc from slopefest 2010 that I am going to on Saturday, plan on buzzing the slopes with a few Ritewings, and going to slope soar the Superfly !

Cheers

Mat
